Faith and Good Works (adapted from Heidelberg Catechism: Lord's Day 24)

1.  How can anyone be good enough, in God's eyes, to enter Heaven?

     Only Jesus, living in us, can make us good enough in God's sight.

2.  How perfect does righteousness need to be?

     It must conform completely to the Divine Law (of perfect Love).

3.  Does God not reward our merits? 

     All are sinners, and sin only earns us the wrath of God.
    
4.  If we depend on Grace alone, of what use is good behavior?

     We who are implanted into Christ must produce fruits of thankfulness.

5.  Who is the only person that you can be certain of his or her true faith?

     The only one we can do anything about is ourself.
